Infrared and EPR Spectra of F 2 NO Radicals Stabilized in SolidArgon. -The F 2 NO radical is formed by addition reactions of two F atoms with NO in solid argon. By use of a combination of EPR and IR absorption spectroscopy this species is identified and characterized for the first time. Additionally, preliminary calculations of the vibrational frequencies and hyperfine constants by ab initio and density functional quantum chemical methods are carried out. -(MISOCHKO, EUGENII YA.; AKIMOV, ALEXANDER V.; GOLDSCHLEGER, ILYA U.; WIGHT, CHARLES A.; Mendeleev Commun.
