Infrared and laser Raman spectra of bis(DL-methioninium) sulfate

Abstract: The infrared and laser-excited Raman spectra of bis(DL-methioninium) sulfate crystal were recorded and analyzed at room temperature. The vibrational assignments of the observed wavenumbers were made based on group theoretical analysis. The presence of C O group is confirmed. Factor group analysis was carried out and the number of normal vibrational modes was calculated.
