Infrared Spectrophotometric Determination of Dioxathion in Cattle Dipwashes

Abstract: Infrared (IR) spectrophotometric determination of dioxathion in cattle dipwashes was checked for its suitability as a routine method. Two calibration curves constructed from absorbances of a series of solutions of dioxathion in carbon tetrachloride and a series of extracts of equivalent quantities of dioxathion from aqueous emulsions were similar (slope 1.8).
