Key Clinical MessageAfter ingestion rubber gloves harden and can produce dangerous complications. Therefore the choice of treatment is of utmost importance. Aside from a surgical approach, endoscopy should also be considered as a treatment option on a case‐to‐case basis or if not applicable as a useful diagnostic tool.
