Inheritance of Cold Tolerance at Emergence and during Early Season Growth in Maize

Abstract: Adaptation of maize (Zea mays L.) to early planting dates requires the improvement of cold tolerance, which implies high percentage emergence and vigorous seedling growth under cold temperatures.
