Abstract:Purpose: Laparoscopic appendectomy (LA) is a popular procedure for acute appendicitis. Its minimally invasive nature has made LA a commonly performed surgical technique for surgical residents. However, single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) poses a challenge to inexperienced surgical residents.
