“…Severe hypoxemia can occur in critically ill patients during air transport on helicopters with cabin altitudes exceeding 4,000 feet (equivalent to 1219.2 meters) or on fixed-wing aircraft with cabin altitudes exceeding 6,000 feet (equivalent to 1828.8 meters) (1).
