Innovative methods for random field establishment and statistical parameter inversion exemplified with 6082-T6 aluminum alloy

Abstract: This paper aims to eliminate the disharmony between simulation and experiment, and takes the mechanical properties of 6082-T6 Al alloy as an example. In order to obtain the equivalent distribution of material properties after considering the randomicity of materials, a new inversion method combining with stochastic finite element method (SFEM) is proposed.
