Abstract

This chapter will give a thorough overview of the current state of mathematics education in the public universities in Burundi. The chapter examines how instructors in Burundi's universities are adjusting to the changing nature of education, with a particular focus on creative teaching approaches and practices. Understanding, identifying, and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities in the context of mathematics teaching in Burundi's higher education institutions are the main goals and concerns of this chapter.
