Innovative Treatment for Inferior Vena Cava Thrombosis without Use of Thrombolytics

Abstract: Limb ischemia and pulmonary embolism are devastating complications of deep vein thrombosis. Catheter directed thrombolysis (CDT) and pharmacomechanical thrombolysis are effective treatments, however thrombolytics in these procedures increase the risk of bleeding.
