Innovative use of Geo-informatics Technology in e-Governance for District Urban Development Agency (DUDA), Narmada District, Gujarat State

Abstract

In order to make the process of monitoring government schemes and municipal activities more rational and transparent, geo-informatics based Municipality Decision Support System (DSS) has been developed by creating the database of all the municipal activities. The municipality DSS is a dynamic web-based system aimed at supporting decision makers take optimal decisions on various municipality activities such as resource prepositioning, gap analysis, prioritization, and resource optimization along with the day-to-day tasks to be accomplished by concerned officials.
