Abstract:In children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), relapse is still the leading cause of treatment failure occurring in 10–15% of cases. Overall survival after relapse plateaus at 50–60%, whereas event-free survival after second and third relapse is approximately 25% and 15%, respectively.
