Abstract: Strawberry phyllody has emerged as a prevalent disease affecting Chilean strawberry in recent years. The causal pathogen, ‘Fragaria × ananassa’ phyllody phytoplasma (StrPh), is categorized within the 16S ribosomal group XIII, exclusively found in the Americas.
