Abstract

Linear, trinuclear silver(I) and… …gold(I) complexes have been synthesized by using a new tridentate aliphatic phosphine ligand that is sterically bulky and optically transparent in the spectral region of interest to the spectroscopic properties of polynuclear d 10 metal complexes.
