The assays on a plethora of microorganisms ( B. subtilis , E. faecalis , S. aureus , S. epidermidis , E. cloacae , E. coli , K. pneumoniae , Proteus mirabilis , P. aeruginosa , C. albicans and C. krusei ) demonstrated good anti-biofilm activity of Cu(II) complexes on fungal strains, the acetate species being more active compared with the chloride one.…”
