Instrumente zur Diagnostik der Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-/Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) im Erwachsenenalter

Abstract: We report on the development of a German self-rating behaviour questionnaire (ADHD-SR) and diagnostic checklist (ADHD-DC) for the diagnosis of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in adults according to DSM IV and ICD 10 research criteria. When comparing self-rating with expert rating, we found good concordance measured by intraclass coefficients on the level of single symptoms and syndrome scores. High retest reliability of the ADHD-SR demonstrated the ability to assess time-stable behaviour traits. Evalu… Show more

“…The brief version of the Cocaine Craving Questionnaire (CCQ) was used to capture current cocaine craving (Sussner et al, 2006). The current severity of depression was measured by the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) (Beck et al, 1961), and the ADHD self-rating scale (ADHD-SR) (Roesler et al, 2004) captured the DSM-IV criteria of ADHD. To consider the various aspects of impulsivity, we applied four measures often used in substance use studies (de Wit, 2009;Perry and Carroll, 2008): two selfreport questionnaires for trait impulsivity (Barratt Impulsiveness Scale, BIS-11) (Patton et al, 1995) and novelty seeking (Temperament and Character Inventory Novelty Seeking Scale, TCI NS) (Cloninger et al, 1999) as well as the two behavioral tasks, Rapid Visual Processing (RVP;…”

“…As cocaine binge is defined as out-of-control intake of large amounts of cocaine over an extended period of time (Mutschler et al, 2001), high cocaine binge was defined as an average cocaine use of at least 2g per occasion during the last 6 months. Cocaine user subgroups for ADHD (with/without ADHD,) and depression (no/at least mild, BDI ≥11, excluding 5 controls with BDI ≥11) were created according to predefined diagnostic criteria (Hautzinger et al, 1994;Roesler et al, 2004), for craving by median split (low/high, CCQ ≤16). …”

“…The ADHD patients (combined type) were diagnosed according to the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV (ADHD diagnostic checklist [34]), and had used no stimulant medication before. The Wender Utah Self-Rating Scale (short version) [35] was used to assess childhood ADHD symptoms.…”

“…Patients with a clinical diagnosis of ADHD were included in the study if the Wender Utah Self-Rating Scale (short version) score was at least 30, and if at least 6 of 9 items of inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity were present. As indicators of severity of symptoms, the ADHD self-rating scale for adults according to DSM-IV [34] was used (total score: 0–54; attention deficit and hyperactivity/impulsivity subscores: each maximal 27). The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I and II Disorders was used to exclude further axis I and II DSM categorical diagnoses.…”
