Insulin Resistance, Subclinical Left Ventricular Remodeling, and the Obesity Paradox

Abstract: Objectives We assessed in the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) whether impaired fasting glucose, insulin resistance, and waist-to-hip ratio had effects on cardiac remodeling, independent of obesity.
