Integração de Sistemas de Informação e a Cadeias de Suprimentos Farmacêuticos / Integration of Information Systems and Pharmaceutical Supply Chains

Abstract

O uso de Sistemas de informação na cadeia de suplementos farmacêuticos resulta em mudanças nas interações e na comunicação entre pontos da rede e traz benefícios aos clientes. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o papel dos Sistemas de informação nos fatores críticos de sucesso na Cadeia de Suplementos Farmacêuticos, O estudo apresenta uma análise dos conceitos que estão relacionados com a gestão da cadeia e o processo de sistema de informação gerencial, fundamentando uma discussão sobre os requisitos, dificuldades e adaptações necessários para aumentar a eficiência da cadeia de suprimentos. Utilizando-se fontes bibliográficas procura-se demonstrar a importância dos sistemas de informações gerenciais e sua influência na cadeia de suprimentos farmacêuticos. Suportado por um estudo de caso de uma grande rede farmacêutica do município de Imperatriz – Maranhão, conclui-se que sistemas de informação adequadamente ajustados às necessidades corporativas, podem auxiliar efetivamente na melhoria da cadeia de suprimentos.
