In this paper, a method is proposed to compute the infinity-norm of the systems that are single-input single-output (SISO), linear timeinvariant (LTI), strictly proper and finite-dimensional. The method uses state-space model of the system and applies one of the special conditions of the Routh table to a polynomial obtained from the system model. The proposed method is simple and provides an analytical solution for the infinity-norm of systems. The frequency corresponding to the infinity-norm of the system can also be determined. The method can also be used to determine the sensitivity of the infinitynorm to the parameters of the system.
