Abstract:In regions with arid and semi-arid climates, groundwater serves as one of the main sources of agricultural, industrial, and drinking water supply, constantly interacting with surface waters. The purpose of this study is to investigate changes in the level and volume of aquifer storage in Kermanshah by simulating the interaction of surface and groundwaters, using a coupling dynamic model WEAP-MODFLOW. This model is capable of calling and automatically running climate change scenarios and displaying their effect… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
