This has been compared with experimental data by Simmons and Hubbell (1971), taking for the latter the 1971 Evaluated Nuclear Data File ENDF/B based upon data from Livermore (Plechaty and Terrall 1968) and the National Bureau of Standards (Hubbell 1969). Simmons and Hubbell concluded that differences were usually less than 5%, except for energies below 10 keV.…”

The current version of the ENDF/B photon interaction library is based upon the data of Plechaty and Terrall (1968) and Hubbell, Veigele, Briggs, Brown, Cromer and Howerton (1975) ; it is available from the Neutron Data Compilation Centre a t Saclay (CCDN). A completely new evaluation of the library is due to be completed by the end of 1978.…”
