Objective: This research aims to determine the role of brain-based learning in training students' critical thinking skills. Method: The research method used is a review article from 20 main scientific articles obtained from Google Scholar, Google, and Science Direct online with the keywords brain-based learning and critical thinking skills. Results: The results show that brain-based learning can be applied to gain critical thinking skills in mathematics and natural science material compared to conventional learning. Brain-based learning notes how the brain processes and interprets information after processing. A learning method that aligns with how the brain functions naturally will help students become more adept at critical thinking. Novelty: One of the most challenging issues of the 20th century is the improvement of information technology and the environment. Building quality human resources is a strategic and critical function of high-quality education. Today's students need to learn how to think critically.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengambangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis budaya Banten. Seperti yang diamanatkan oleh kurikulum 2013 mengenalkan nilai-nilai budaya dapat membentuk karakteristik pada pesera didik. IPA merupakan konsep pembelajaran alam dan mempunyai hubungan yang sangat luas terkait dengan kehidupan manusia dengan alam. pembelajaran IPA sangat berperan dalam proses pendidikan dan juga perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran IPA diharapkan bisa menjadi wahana bagi siswa untuk mempelajari diri sendiri dan alam sekitar serta pengembangan lebih lanjut pada penerapan dalam kehidupan seharihari.Peneliti menggunakan Budaya suku Baduy dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang akan disatupadukan pada pembelajaran tematik yaitu tema 2 udara bersih bagi kesehatan dan subtema 2 pentingnya udara bersih bagi pernapasan pada pembelajaran 1 di kelas 5. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (RnD) ini berpedoman pada model ADDIE yang menggunkan 5 tahapan yaitu : analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembekajaran (RPP) yang terdiri dari Bahan Ajar, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan Intrumen Tes (Kisi-Kisi, Soal-Soal Tes, Pedoman Penskoran, dan Kunci Jawaban). Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas 5 SDN Buah Gede yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Data kualitatif pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Adapun kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan melalui validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli evaluasi. Hasil validasi RPP, Bahan Ajar, LKPD mendapatakan presentase 85,01-100,00% dan Intrument Tes mendapatkan presentase pada komponen materi soal dengan skor 90% (Sangat Valid), komponen bentuk assessment dengan skor 91% (Sangat Valid) dan komponen Bahasa yang digunakan 75% (Cukup Valid). Dalam hal ini validitas produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teachers in implementing the Pancasila student profile to shape students' character. This type of research uses qualitative with a phenomenological design that describes the implementation of the Pancasila student profile and the teacher's role in making it happen. The research subjects were fourth grade teachers, principals and fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Wonorejo. The object of this research is to critically examine the study of the role of class teachers in the Pancasila student profile as an effort to realize student character. The data collection techniques form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation techniques with triangulation techniques in the form of data source triangulation and method triangulation. The checking the validity of the data used is the credibility test. The data analysis was carried out in three stages, in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of observations, researchers found the role of class teachers in implementing Pancasila student profiles, including; the teacher acts as a lover, the teacher as a model, and the teacher as a mentor. This is supported by the application of school culture and carrying out positive activities with habituation activities, spontaneous activities and exemplary activities. There are supporting factors and inhibiting factors. To overcome these various obstacles and obstacles, the teacher seeks to strengthen the supporting factors that the school already has.
