A economia global é diretamente dependente dos combustíveis fósseis, consumindo um total de aproximadamente 70% destas fontes de energia. Contudo, as energias renováveis, principalmente os biocombustíveis produzidos pela biomassa estão ganhando espaço, com destaque para o capim-elefante, que vem se destacando na produção de bioetanol no Brasil. No entanto, antes de ocorrer a fermentação para a produção do bioetanol, a biomassa deverá passar por um processo chamado de pré-tratamento. Por isso, quando se analisa os processos químicos, a otimização nas variáveis para o pré-tratamento é fundamental, assim surge a necessidade de aplicar um sistema de modelagem matemática como a lógica nebulosa ou fuzzy. Diante desse contexto, o objetivo desse artigo é identificar como está configurado o estado do conhecimento sobre a aplicação da lógica fuzzy no pré-tratamento alcalino no capim-elefante. Com a realização da pesquisa utilizando a Revisão Bibliográfica Sistêmica (RBS), foi possível identificar diversas oportunidades da aplicação da lógica fuzzy nos pré-tratamentos alcalinos no capim-elefante. Dos 86 documentos analisados nesta pesquisa, 100% foram de artigos de pesquisa e de revisão bibliográfica, o que demonstra uma relevância na academia ao uso do capim-elefante na produção bioetanol e, da mesma forma, que as pesquisas sobre a aplicação de pré-tratamento nas biomassas vem ganhando importância nos últimos anos, sendo cada vez mais estudada e desenvolvida por pesquisadores da área. Apesar de não apresentar nenhum artigo com referência específica da utilização da lógica fuzzy no pré-tratamento alcalino do capim-elefante, isso abre um grande leque para novas pesquisas utilizando a lógica nebulosa.

Purpose: To understand how learning, the constituent elements of strategizing and organizational routines act in the process of product development, from the perspective of dynamic capabilities (DC), in a company of the food sector. Originality/value: To the extent that the learning-practice-routine trinomial is addressed, the results of this research present new and enlightening insights for the understanding of how dynamic capabilities are developed. Additionally, by considering the role of practitioners in the constitution of routines and by identifying how they relate to practices and praxis, evidence advance knowledge on the subject. Design/methodology/approach: Qualitative approach through the selection of a company that has worked overtime in the development of new products. The data were collected through non-participant observation, documentary analysis, and narrative interview. Data analysis occurred through narrative analysis. Findings: Through the appropriation of practices and the institutionalization of praxis, the strategic routines are enacted by practitioners, who accumulate and generate learning capable of developing DC. Thus, the learning-practice-routine trinomial allows to reveal how the DC are developed. In addition, the important role that practitioners play in this process was evidenced in the sense that, without them, routines are not enacted and, consequently, there is no development of DC.

Academy–industry collaborations (AICs) play a crucial role in the creation of new knowledge, by transferring this knowledge to the society and bringing into line theory and practice. Although in the state-of-the-art exists a number of efforts to analyze different factors that influence these collaborations, little attention has been paid in the application of dynamic capabilities (DCs) as an emerging tool to identify strategic elements in public research institutes (PRIs). Aiming to fill this literature gap, in this study, DCs methodology was applied to the Mexican PRI in order to classify the research activities into these strategies. A second stage was carried out to determine the influence of each DC in the global productivity and knowledge integration or transfer. The relationship between the variables was statistically analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The main findings of this study showed that sensing and reconfiguration capabilities have a direct interaction on the global productivity and knowledge integration or transfer of the Mexican PRI, whereas the seizing capabilities present a weak impact on these items. The proper application of the DCs framework, as a substantial instrument for the PRI, opens up an alternative to identify that the main activities should receive special attention during the strategic planning process. These strategies can improve academy–industry collaborations by promoting the process of global knowledge and technology development.
