“…Many features are required from the materials used in wearable sensors, but flexibility and (electrical or thermal) conductivity are often essential ones. Graphene-based composites have been extensively explored for this purpose owing to the outstanding properties of graphene (e.g., tunable conductivity, high surface area, and controllable thickness) to prepare composites with different classes of compounds aiming for further application in sensor devices, such as nanoparticles or molecularly imprinted polymers.
