“…Child traumatherapy dissociation-mending techniques are conceptualized within a multisystems model which focuses on individual, family, community, and societal dynamics and resources. Since the violence-traumatized child and adolescent are engaged in natural progressive growth and change in which there is a continuous interknitting of dynamic, developmental, raciocultural, cognitive, affective, behavioral, and interpersonal factors, a multisystemicintegrative approach to intervention appears to be essential (Coonerty, 1993;FitzPatrick, 1993;Parson, 1994aParson, , 1995a.
