Abstract:ST-analysis of the fetal electrocardiogram (ECG) (STAN (®)) combined with cardiotocography (CTG) for intrapartum fetal monitoring has been developed following many years of animal research. Changes in the ST-segment of the fetal ECG correlated with fetal hypoxia occurring during labor.
