Intensity measurements and relative band strengths of the C-X system of LaO

Abstract

Relative intensities of the bands of the P o = -1 sequence of the C ' l l l , r -X ' X subsystem are measured. The effective vibrational temperature is estimated. The variation of an electronic transition moment R. is determined which yielded the relation R J r ) = constantx (r-2.4548) in the range 2.5439 6 r 6 2.4787 A. The smoothed relative band strengths are derived.
