Interaction Force between a Small Magnet and a Superconducting Sphere

Abstract: The interaction force between a small magnet and a superconducting sphere is calculated using the method of images. Our approach can be easily verified by applying boundary conditions. This work will possesses and clear the discrepancies found in the literature. For collinear dipoles case (small magnet and its image), we found the elevated force to be dependent on the geometrical dimensions of the problem
