Abstract:The exogenous refractory nanoparticles is proposed for refining iron-based melts from nonferrous metal impurities. Investigated the heterophase interaction of Al2O3 and MgAl2O4 nanoparticles with Sb/Sn/Cu and showed that the degree of removal of nonferrous metal impurities was in the Fe-Sb system up to 30 rel.%, in the Fe-Sn system up to 29 rel. % and in the Fe-Cu system up to 23 rel. %.
