“…Measurement of change in surface pressure as a function of time using the LB technique allows one to have an idea about the surface activities within the Langmuir film. This process has been extended to study the interactions between phospholipids and other biomembrane components with suitable materials like drugs, , nanoparticles, enzymes, DNA, and cholesterol . In the present case, also the LB technique has been employed to study the interaction between floating DOPC films and water-soluble coagulating protein PS.…”

“…We thus indicate there could be some highly packed Nb molecules formed on the surface of clay sheets. This phase transformation was induced by the compression and the removal of solvents when the Nb was transferred from solutions to the restricted geometry of solid surfaces . The formation of aggregates has been verified by tuning external environments, and the “intramolecular aggregate” was found to be generated by joining oxazine rings with proper linkages. , Therefore, an interchromophore delocalization could occur in the bichronophers or polychronophers when the orientations of Nb are prepared in the hybrid films, and thus a hypsochromic shift both in Abs and PL spectra can be anticipated .…”

“…We infer there are two different types of configurations of the Nb molecules when they are immobilized on the clay sheets. The different configurations could result from the variant arrangements of Nb molecules induced by the compression, and most probably some aggregates are formed . We thus name the adsorbed states as adsorbed state type I and II based on the absorption peaks at 505 and 590 nm, respectively.…”
