Interconnectedness and the web of accountabilities: Humboldtian approaches to social and environmental accounting

Abstract: PurposeCurrent accounting practice tends to split environmental complexities into quantifiable, codified elements, producing codified simplifications of the “complex” in pursuit of environmental externalities.
