“…For OARs, this is evidently not the case and DVHs only provide an indication of (changes in) dose to healthy tissues, but cannot be used to report the actual delivered dose to a specific organ. For the target volume, though, the intratumoral fiducial markers indicate its position, as migration has been found to be minimal or absent 10. Thus, even though rotations and deformations are not taken into account, rigidly accumulated dose can be used as a valid measure for target dose coverage.…”
