“…Two geophysical investigations have been performed by ANL in the vicinity of Building E5032 An initial geophysical investigation was conducted in April 199 1 (McGinnis and Miller 1991) followed by a resurvey investigation conducted in 1994 (Thompson et al 1994). During the January 1994 geophysical investigation (Thompson et al: 1994), ANL used new instnunentation, including two types of electromagnetic induction instruments and a cesium vapor magnetometer, to identify underground structures located near Building E503 2.…”

“…Thus, a grid interval of 1.25 ft was used for each set of giid data, which represents a grid interval of one-fourth of the profie spacing (5 ft). Following processing and gridding with the SURFER software, anomalies were enhanced by using color-contouring software developed at ANL by Thompson (1994). These color-contour maps are presented in this report.…”
