“…The results of this study are in agreement with the Kushner4 and Audery7 studies that R&R is more effective than BLR-rec. Furthermore, the undercorrection rate in patients who had undergone BLR-rec was 23.7% (9/38) in our study, similar to Fiorelli's result of 28.6%6 and Choi's result of 21.8% (1-year follow-up),8 but lower than Audery's result of 56% 7. According to our study, it seems that BLR-rec tends to lead to a lower surgical success rate and a higher probability of undercorrection, increasing the risk of reoperation.…”
