Abstract: Aging is a crucial factor for tissue fibrosis that is closely associated with the functional decline of various organs. Fibrosis of white adipose tissue (WAT) is a hallmark of dysfunctional WAT that is directly linked to age- and obesity-associated metabolic abnormalities.
