“…As a result, the field was characterized by spectacular growth, and the set of topics and theoretical concepts used in the literature widened significantly during the first decade of the 21 st century [Busenitz et al, 2003;Uhlaner, 2003;Ireland et al, 2005;Xheneti, Blackburn, 2011;Carlsson et al, 2013]. “…Studies demonstrated that in the least developed economies, SMEs contribute less toward the creation of employment and generation of GDP compared with the informal sector (Cunningham 2011). This statistical evidence implies that developing countries have a duty to formulate policies aimed at reforming the market economies that harmonise the participation of informal and informal sectors to provide a firm foundation on which the poor can engage in high value added business activities (Kiss et al 2011). Moreover, eliminating the constraining factors for entry of informal enterprises into the formal SME sector can bring about economic gains.…”

“…Individual regions more specialized in specific, different clusters, and more interlinked. This allows the overall economic activity to be distributed relatively evenly in different areas, even if individual regions change specialization (Kiss, Danis, & Cavusgil, 2012). Areas without specialization are facing the risk of being left behind on economic development.…”

“…Also, other factors and circumstances must be considered, such as the Competitiveness and demand conditions. Clusters are most likely to emerge, thrive and survive when these conditions maintain high productivity and innovation (Kiss, Danis, & Cavusgil, 2012). Clusters and regional specialization empirically associated with higher levels of innovation and prosperity.…”
