“…The results of the short-term relationship estimation indicated a strong positive relation between exports and domestic investments, and also a negative but statistically irrelevant association amongst imports and exchange rates. Bardi and Hfaiedh (2021) examined the effect of trade openness on the economic growth of Mediterranean countries using the ARDL panel method for eight countries between 1975 and 2016. The findings revealed that economic development and trade openness have a oneway causal relationship.…”
