Abstract:We evaluated the cause in each type of 180 Japanese internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) from the clinical registry. Bilateral INO was seen in 14 of 33 patients with stroke and 12 of 33 with multiple sclerosis. Unilateral INO was observed in 108 of 147 patients with stroke, 15 of 147 with MS. One-and-a-half syndrome was detected in 19 of 22 patients with stroke and 3 in MS.
