Interocclusal recording materials and techniques: A literature review

Abstract: Precise articulation of casts obtained from the patient is essential for proper diagnosis, treatment planning and successive prosthetic rehabilitation. In addition accurate transfer of maxillomandibular relation to the articulator eliminates the need for occlusal adjustments in final prosthesis, which require additional time and cost.
