Interpellative Styles: Choreographies of Identity Disruptions and Repairs

Abstract: Drawing on ethnographic research with two Orthodox Jewish outreach organizations, this article conceptualizes interpellative styles and offers a framework to analyze how styles are variously situated, mediated, performed, and disruptive.
