Interpolation of partial and full supersymmetry breakings in N=2 supergravity

Abstract: We discuss an N = 2 supergravity model that interpolates the full and the partial supersymmetry breakings. In particular, we find the conditions for an N = 0 Minkowski vacuum, which is continuously connected to the partialbreaking (N = 1 preserving) one. The model contains multiple (Abelian) vector multiplets and a single hypermultiplet, and is constructed by employing the embedding tensor technique. We compute the mass spectrum on the Minkowski vacuum, and find some non-trivial mass relations among the massiv… Show more

“…Previous studies have shown that the 11-d super gravity has N ~ 8 (maximum) supersymmetry. From the residual minimal supersymmetry in the englert solution of the 11-dimensional supergravity, we can find a mechanism of the so-called "spontaneous compactness" of d = 11 supergravity [77]- [79] . In this framework, 11-dimensional hyperspace is compactly transformed into M 4 × N r , where M 4 is 4-dimensional AdS (anti de Sitter) space-time and N r is a compact (Lie group) manifold.…”

“…For example, in Ref. [2], the effects of heavy modes arising from the first supersymmetry breaking is discussed, mainly focusing on gravitino decay process. In the following, we extend the analysis to the ALP-photon coupling and investigate the effects of the first suersymmetry breaking.…”

“…Therefore, the model would be appropriate for considering various breaking patterns. 1 Based on the setup above and under a specific gauging, we have explicitly constructed a model which interpolates N = 0 and N = 1 Minkowski vacua, and evaluated the mass spectrum in our previous paper [44]. Here we consider general gaugings extending our previous analysis.…”
