Some pliysical clianges produced by wear have bee11 evaluated for four esperinientaI fabrics made from fiber selected for crimp and fineness. Measurements were made .on the yarn count, thickness, capacitaiice, and weight at specified intervals. The results were related to the length of wear given juiiipers iiinde from the fabrics. The yarn counts per inch of fabric tended to increase with wear. The iosses in weight, capncitance, and thickness during the sis wear periods ivere sufficient to produce decreasing trends in each instance.at WESTERN OREGON UNIVERSITY on June 2, 2015 trj.sagepub.com Downloaded from * Denotes significance a t the 0.05 probability level. ** Denotes significance a t the 0.01 probability level.
