Interventional radiology during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic: A tertiary care community hospital’s initial experience

Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, and has significantly impacted nearly every facet of medicine. Interventional radiology (IR), of course, has been no exception. This article highlights the experiences of a community-based IR department as they create a safe environment for patients and staff during the pandemic while continuing to provide high-quality care.
