Intestinal d-Galactose Transport in an Endotoxemia Model in the Rabbit

Abstract: Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is an endotoxin causing sepsis. Studies from our laboratory revealed impaired intestinal absorption of L-leucine and D-fructose in LPS-treated rabbits.
