Intestinal fibrogenesis in inflammatory intestinal disorders

Abstract: The article deals with chronic inflammatory processes of the intestines and their complications that contribute to the gradual accumulation of deep transmural lesions of the intestinal wall, including narrowings, development of obstruction, abscesses, and fistulas.
