Intestinal Ligation Mimicking Ureteral Ligation After Ovariohysterectomy in an 11‐Month‐Old Chihuahua

Abstract: Intestinal ligation during ovariohysterectomy has not been previously reported in dogs. Risk factors for this complication appear to be the same as those for ureteral injury, namely decreased surgical visualization due to small patient size and small incision size.
