Abstract:The intra-articular reconstruction of the cranial cruciate ligament (CrCL) by an organic graft or a synthetic implant allows the restoration of physiological stifle stability. This treatment is still marginal in routine practice. A Rottweiler presented an acute complete CrCL rupture treated using an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) implant.
