Intra-pleural tissue plasminogen activator and deoxyribonuclease: An alternative treatment option for pleural infections in specific populations

Abstract: Pleural infections can be associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Systemicantibiotics and drainage are the standard treatment, but some patients require surgicalintervention for complete resolution.
