Abstract:We report a 4-year-old girl in whom a probable intracranial tuberculoma was diagnosed by carotid angiography. The child's clinical picture improved and the tuberculoma certainly considerably reduced in size as shown by a follow-up angiogram 20 months after institution of antituberculous treatment. Our case adds one to those in whom medical treatment was a success. Surgery should be reserved for medical failures and where diagnosis is uncertain.
