“…At imaging, IPMN, MCN, and serous cystadenoma generally can be differentiated on the basis of morphologic features by using CT and MRI. IPMN manifests as dilatation of the main pancreatic duct (main duct-type IPMN) or its side branches (side branch-type IPMN), with some side branch lesions having a morphology that resembles a cluster of grapes or clubbed finger (36). The ductal dilatation is due to the presence of obstructing tumor and mucus, and the main differential diagnosis at imaging is ductal obstruction due to stone or stricture.…”
